the Covid-19 pandemic has triggered a massive disruption of labour markets in the entire region and has a disproportionate impact on the employment of young people. Overall, an estimated 220 million young workers in Asia aged 15 to 24 are vulnerable to this disruption and are in danger to lose their jobs, the research says.Core problems to find alternative work amid the pandemic are that younger people have a relative lack of experience and are mostly not sufficiently educated to switch to other jobs that are sought after in the crisis, such as healthcare or information technology

I think the support in climate adaptation is not consistent and changing based on the nature of governments. Poverty is deepening and causing further strain to already fragile environment. Need to increase support directly to poor may be through international humanitarian agencies. Increase and improve value chain and benefit to poorest people from protecting the environment.

Climate Change roadmap vary depending on development status of countries. This is a global issue as all country need to work seriously. while it is too late for the countries to aggress the problem, the least developed countries are far behind. Lack of Awareness and realise the need to act promptly is clearly evident in these countries. More concerted efforts will be required in these countries. In a country like Nepal with Himalayan range all along its northern border, this issue is of much more curial as the melting of ice along the himalayas has significant bearing over the climate change issues in the entire region.
