satellites companies are coming from the top analyzing land, crop history without permission of farmers on ground. they are creating land score, farmer credit score etc and are making decisions on crop loans. and supplying these services to banks, input companies and others what kind of laws should be made to protect farmers and obtaining consent? and do farmers understand such consent?

'Formal' chains with strong value chain actors offer great points of entry and data resources but the commodities they represent are often for export and account for less than 20% of Ag. GDP +/- in Africa. 'Less formal chains' are poorly documented, standardized, more dynamic. Does this present a very different operational environment that requires new approaches.

In data sharing as applied in some places in Africa its security maybe difficult as many data at ones disposition may prove difficult to manage, How then can this problem be circumvented?.
