@LGicheru: We need to invest in skills. We need to increase capacity and re-skill the population in rural areas so we can empower people to access the climate-related jobs that are being created now. Without the necessary skills, those jobs are exported. Another critical investment is in renewable energy. We need to think through the resilient aspects of the energy system and invest in the resources that enable entrepreneurs to have access to the digital world and boost economic growth.

Bright Wireko Brobbey: The impact of climate change on the economy of Ghana is evident. We have become highly vulnerable to the extreme effects of climate change, which is likely to affect Ghana's water availability and food security. In light of this, we have developed a four-pillar green strategy: to ensure policy alignment and coordination for the maximization of green jobs; to develop skills, especially for youth, women and people living with disabilities; to take advantage of existing and emerging green job potential and support the creation of green jobs across sectors; and to mobilize and facilitate access to sustainable financing for green enterprises.

@evanswadongo: It's critical to put money where the programs are, such as renewable energy projects. Bureaucracy also discourages young people from taking action in their own societies. Also, I disagree with @Ada_Osakwe about the lack of funding for female entrepreneurs. It's about the ecosystem that is preventing female entrepreneurs from having viable businesses that can access funding.
