The pandemic brought to the surface the inequities of the global economy, more the result of practices and policies that continue to leave people behind. Those most vulnerable are less fortunate and as a result carry the biggest burden of what the pandemic has caused. The question remains what are international organizations going to change to ensure more fair lending and investment practices and how will you ensure accountability at the international level but also at the state level? It is a imperative to curve corruption and lack of transparency but also inequitable investments. We need better collaboration and more scrunity of how resources are advancing the lives of all peoples.
