I am from India. I want to raise the issue of poverty and hunger in India mainly because India is a large country in terms of population.

I am looking forward to a better submission from the president especially, on ways to minimise the increase rate of people living with abject poverty.

How is the world bank plans to end poverty for extreme poor who are landless and homeless due to their country's laws banned their right for these resources possession? Landlessness and homelessness pushes these people to migrate and result for trafficking.

Whilst we appreciate the efforts being put in place by the World Bank, in helping us in developing countries in fighting and mitigating the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, I feel the world bank should do more in ensuring that the help they are providing in these countries is utilized for its intended purpose! The greatest challenge and number one enemy in Africa especially is corruption and misapplication of funds. I wish the world bank could do more in making sure that the help that is coming to Africa is utilized as is meant to! otherwise we shall continue with the same story of poverty and more! Regards
