The WBG Climate Action Plan 2016-2020 suggests that "by 2020, the WBG will have contributed to sustainable poverty alleviation and shared prosperity by building resilience to climate change impacts and policies and decarbonizing development".•To what extent has this been achieved?•What has been the major setbacks to realising these goals especially in developing countries?

Is YPP and IFC program open to Finance Candidates only, and does experience in Donor related field (NGO) offer one a chance to get the call to the program? What is the start date of the new cohorts once selected so that we can be informed on making decisions regarding our current contracts? Thanks

I am so passionate about development. Right from Kenya where as a teacher in the coast region of the country, I was a strong advocate for the rights of the girls whose innocence gets taken away from them due to the toxic sex tourism, primitive religious believes and poverty. My advocacy led to a lot of girls enrollment in high schools as well as improved academic performance. Similarly I was able to partake in the civil leadership training with YALI in Nairobi Kenya.I just completed my masters in international development at Ohio university because I believe I am the change maker that marginalized women and girls need.i would really love to get this opportunity to learn from the best...My only concern is my age. I am just two months out of the required age bracket. Does that automatically disqualify me?

I saw somewhere on the website where it was stating that the limit for the year of birth is 1988. Can I still apply if I was born in November 1987?Secondly, is it mandatory that one should possess a Masters degree or are you also considering a Bachelors?Thank you
