Live Q&A: The World Bank Group Analyst Program 2016
The World Bank Group Analyst Program is a unique opportunity for exceptionally talented young people with a passion for international development to contribute to solving some of the world’s most pressing problems.
On March 17th, WBG representatives from Human Resources as well as some recently-hired WBG Analysts will take your questions about this program. Join us in this live chat and learn more about this exciting employment opportunity.
The WBG Analyst Program, launched in 2015, is a recruitment and development program focused on young early career professionals. Specifically, it targets candidates 28 years old and under, with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree and 1-3 years of work experience. There are various streams within the program (i.e. Operations, Finance, & Information Technology) designed to tailor recruitment to the demands and profiles of each hiring unit. The Analyst Program is modeled on strategies within the private sector and other international organizations that target early career professionals to allow the institution to develop its talent pipeline at an earlier stage. It features a comprehensive development program that includes onboarding at the WBG, technical and leadership training, mentoring, and career development opportunities. The duration of the program is three years. If this sounds interesting to you and you possess the skills we are looking for, we would very much like to hear from you.
To be competitive for this highly selective program, you need to demonstrate a commitment to development, analytical thinking, proven academic success, and leadership potential. We value diversity in our workplace, and encourage all qualified individuals with diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply. Positions may be based in Washington, DC or in a regional office.
For more information and to apply, visit the WBG Analyst Program website and submit your application between March 16 and April 5, 2016.
