Replay the liveblog from an event at the World Bank about the new Open Government Partnership (OGP).   The OGP (http://www.opengovpartnership.org), launched on September 2011 under the leadership of the eight founding countries, is a multilateral, multi-stakeholder initiative that seeks to enhance transparency, participation and collaboration between governments and civil society. Since its launching, membership has increased to over 50 countries. 

Presentations were given by Caroline Mauldin, of the U.S Department of State and Juan Pardinas, General Director of the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness, civil society representative for Mexico at OGP Steering Committee. Nathaniel Heller, Executive Director of Global Integrity served as the discussant.
