International Open Government Data Conference 2012 – Liveblog & webcast

July 10-12, 2012

Data.gov, the World Bank Open Data Initiative and the Open Development Technology Alliance joined forces to host the second International Open Government Data Conference (IOGDC) in Washington D.C.

We had over 400 people from more than 40 countries including technologists, government officials, civil society organizations and the private sector come together for 3 days of over 100 speakers sharing their experiences, stimulating new ideas, and demonstrating the power of putting open data to work.

A special thank you to the 3,800+ live online viewers, 2,500+ liveblog participants and thousands of others tweeting with #IOGDC during the conference.

Watch the opening session and welcoming keynote speeches by World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, World Bank MD Caroline Anstey and US CIO Steven VanRoekel.
