View the webcast for the Washington, D.C., release of International Budget Partnership’s Open Budget Survey 2012 -- the only independent, comparative and regular measure of budget transparency around the world. The 2012 Survey is the fourth round of the research, covering 100 countries, home to 89% of the world’s population. IBP Director Warren Krafchik and World Bank Institute Vice President Sanjay Pradhan discussed the results of the survey with high-level finance ministry officials of Afghanistan, Brazil and Liberia. Together, they explored how to accelerate budget transparency globally, and thereby support more inclusive development around the world.
