On February 19th, join the SecureNutrition Knowledge Platform for a live awards celebration, featuring winning projects from the 2013 Harvesting Nutrition Contest. Conducted alongside the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition and Save the Children UK, Harvesting Nutrition challenged projects all over the world to demonstrate how they were addressing challenges in multisectoral nutrition programming.

From a field of 50 applicants, three winners were chosen for impact, scale, and innovation, and invited to the World Bank to tell their story. Join for a 3-hour event featuring a moderated panel discussion, audience Q&A, video and photo project portraits, remarks from senior World Bank staff on multisectoral linkages, and a keynote presentation by Dr. Derek Yach.

The winning projects are:

IMPACT: Hear from Realigning Agriculture to Improve Nutrition (RAIN) how rigorous data collection and analysis complements a program to improve diet at the household level.

SCALE: See how N2Africa networks across partners and countries to improve productivity of legumes in the field and their consumption at home.

INNOVATION: Listen to Shamba Shape-Up's experience using "make-over" reality TV shows to help smallholder farmers in East Africa.
