Yasuhisa Shiozaki is the current Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan, a position he has held since 2014. Prior to that, in 2010, Shiozaki was the Director of the Committee on Budget, House of Representatives. In 2005, he was the Chief Cabinet Secretary and Minister in charge of the Abduction Issue.
Shiozaki attended the Faculty of Arts and Science at Tokyo University and later graduated from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
