Matia Kasaija is the current Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development for Uganda. Before his appointment, he served as the State Minister for Finance (Planning) in the Cabinet of Uganda for four years. Prior to that, he served as the State Minister for Internal Affairs, from 2006 until 2011. He is also the elected Member of Parliament for “Buyanja County”, Kibaale District.
