Constanza Gomez-Mont

Director, PIDES; Mexico City Open Government Program

Constanza is the co-founder and director of ¨PIDES¨ - a think and do tank catalyzes innovation through citizen empowerment and technology. As director of PIDES, she currently facilitates the Open Government Program for Mexico City and coordinates a youth movement on open government called “I, YOUTH”. She has worked for the last 10 years in policy development and community interventions in pressing issues such as climate change, obesity and civic innovation. She has also coordinated international processes on youth such as the World Youth Conference held in Mexico and International Climate Change youth-led conferences. She has been also a consultant for diverse organizations including United Nations, Foreign Affairs Ministry, National Youth Institute, and local governments among others. In the past years she has help found national NGO coalitions on obesity and entrepreneurship. Constanza has been named a Sandbox entrepreneur, a Young Global Shaper form the World Economic Forum and an International Climate Champion by the British Council. She is passionate about advancing systemic change programs.
