Alain Ebobissé is Chief Investment Officer in the Global Infrastructure and Natural Resources Department at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Alain is also the Global Head of IFC’s Global Infrastructure Project Development Fund (“IFC InfraVentures”), which provides early stage risk capital for the development of private and PPP infrastructure projects in developing countries. IFC InfraVentures currently acts as Developer and risk capital provider for several private and PPP infrastructure projects in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Alain joined IFC in 1998. He has led a number of complex infrastructure transactions in Africa, Europe and Latin America. Prior to joining IFC, Alain was deputy head of Project and Structured Finance at Caisse des Depots et Consignations in Paris, France. Alain holds an MBA from International School for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
