Replay a special event to hear from two organizations that are creating online and offline open source solutions to close this digital divide. The World Bank opened its data two years ago as part of an effort to share information and increase transparency and accountability; its new Open Access Policy, effective July 1, 2012, allows the public to access and reuse World Bank research. Wikimedia Foundation, a nonprofit, charitable organization that supports Wikipedia, is dedicated to encouraging the growth, development and distribution of free, multilingual content. Wikimedia France is a Wikimedia chapter, involved in the development and sharing of wikimedia content in the francophone area.
