Interview with Samuel A. Worthington

Samuel Worthington is President and CEO of InterAction, an alliance of more than 200 U.S.-based international non-governmental organizations. He also serves on the USAID Advisory Committee for Voluntary Foreign Assistance, the board of The Alliance to End Hunger and is an International Trustee of Religions for Peace. Worthington advocates for strong investments in emergency humanitarian relief and advises on how to make international aid programs more effective and accountable. He has a background in global health and community-based social programs aimed at children and their families.
A Fulbright Scholar, Worthington has a Masters degree with distinction from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont.
